Ato Moges Abayneh has been working at the capacity of A/Chief Corporate Services Officer and Executive Director of Corporate Services sector at Goh Betoch Bank S.C since 22 June 2022. He has received Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Public Administration from Addis Ababa University in July 2000 GC.
Moges had started his professional career in Ethiopian Agricultural Research Organization (EARO) at the capacity of Training Expert I since 25 September 2000 for 2 months. Subsequently, he had joined Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (the state-owned Bank of the nation) on 01 December 2000 and served the Bank for seven years in different positions, viz., Management Trainee, Junior Training Officer, Personnel Officer, Senior Human Resources Officer, and Procurement Assessor. Then after, he had joined Bank of Abyssinia S.C. on 10 December 2007 at the capacity of Senior Human Resources Officer; and continued his career at managerial positions: Manager-Personnel Administration, Manager-HR Planning and Development, Executive Assistant to the CEO/President, and finally Director of Card Banking Department, for a total of 13 years and six months period.
In addition to the aforementioned permanent assignments, Moges has got the opportunity to work in miscellaneous high-level projects, among them, the following two have significant contributions in developing his conceptual skills and leadership capabilities.
Had worked with Bank of Scotland, Ireland (BoSI) Management Consultancy team at the capacity of Skill Transfer on HR and Change Management for two years at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia; and
Had worked with Deloitte Consulting firm in a Strategic Plan and Organizational Transformation (SPOT) project at the capacity of Counterpart Core Team Member and Team Leader of Human Capital Management for ten months at Bank of Abyssinia S.C.
