Ato Zemete was elected as a Member of the Bank’s Board of Directors by the General Assembly during the Shareholders meeting that was held in November 2023.

He has a Master of Science degree in Development Economics from Debre Birhan University and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Bahir Dar University.

In his professional life, he has served more than 15 years in governmental and privately owned organizations at different capacities.
